d12 3 Report post Posted November 3, 2013 vmware player is a free version of the vmware software package. vmware workstation is a paid version. it actually has some features a normal user doesnt rly need. its made for business. so the player is enough. also one of the less programs, which are able to run the poe client. for example virtual box doesnt get the client running, since its not supporting direct 3d.
