    tho it isn't a bug, you just didn't like the feature? assuming the 2nd time is the tp where the bot finished the instance and goes on to make a new instance.

     

    is this was happened or is it really a "bug" with the new feature ?

     

    bot cleaned 80 % of the instance, and thinks he is full. goes to town, sells his things, cleaning the rest of the % (depends what you have chosen as max %)

    well, its likely the same. either bricked os, or you forgot sth to install. try to juggle with Visual C++ Redistributable Package, this is most likely the guilty party.

     

    if 99,9 % could open the bot and you cannot, there must be sth. wrong.

     

    send you a message, go try that.

    ehm you could fix that yourself i guess. coordinates.ini have 3 entries you could adjust to make it work ;)

    likely Visual C++ Redistributable Package not installed ;)

     

    if you have everything installed, i would try to deinstall it, and install it again. made the expierence that it could be sometimes necessary to install x86 + x64 package on win 7 64 bit. incase your os is x64.

     

    what is your os anyway?

    Thanks by miles!!! So it doesn't matter at all even you are level 100 and farming on merci docks? You only get 5% penalty at maximum right? And how is that number working with your iiq and iqr? Assuming that you have 300 iqr, will that 5% take off 15 out of your 300 or just 5 out of your 300?

     

    Whatever the case is, I don't see the point of having drop penalty at all because it's so insignificant.

    penalty is only for currency & divination cards, hence only a quantity effect. rarity has no effect on currencies.

     

    don't know exactly if the penalty goes on all quantity or just the base.

     

    but yeah for the purpose of this penalty lvl 100 and lvl 68 are equal.

    not using chicken to avoid death?

     

    well, evasion is evasion. quite popular, but there are some hard hitting phys monsters since awakening :D

     

    evasion give you a chance to dodge, but it isn't gonna work all the time. if you dont have other migation forms, your char gets the full damage blown into his face. for dried lake there is voll (the boss) who is quite hard hitting for a lvl 68 zone. 

     

    lets say 1st dodge work -> no damage, 2nd work -> no damage, 3rd doesn't work -> very low life / dead :mrgreen:

     

    gotta keep in mind that playing manually, its easy to dodge his attacks, because you see it coming or know his attack pattern. but a bot can't do it, and has to be tanky enough sometimes to survive. sometimes less damage/more tank is better, if he dies or is chicken like crazy.

    I want to farm Jack card in  merciless dock . I used to make a lot of chaos farming the cards when I was level 62-68 farming. Farming that card alone and exchange for soul taker is extremely profitable. I'm not aiming to level up. But my char is now level 79 and I can see significant drop penalty. I used to get 40+ card with 50 iqr over a night but it's now only 3 cards per night per 200+ map recreation.

     

    I tried to make a glass cannon char with high dps to fast clear a map and get 15% exp reduction once per 2 or three run but he is now 75 even with full iir and iqr and almost non-existing defense and hp. The clearing speed that he does is overwhelmed the exp penalty.

     

    So I tried almost everything to keep my char level 64, but it's next to impossible.

     

    I wish that exiled bot team will read on this and make this "suicide mode" thing because it's best way to farm real life cash.

     

    It's the best way to mkae cash in game, period. You can farm mjolnir, soul taker, victario acuity or voltarix rift with very inexpensive gear and effortless.

    40 cards where in the beginning of the league after awakening was launched. ggg nerfed the drop rate of jack in the box hard after 1-2 weeks, because everyone was abusing it. the high drop rate wasn't intended (it was a bug more or less), and coupled with the chance to even have a shot at a legacy unique, it didn't make much sense.

     

    now the drop rate is below average or back to normal, time to search something new to farm. that strategy isn't working anymore since ages.

     

    your feeling about less drops has actually not much to do with the slight drop penalty because of your higher level. Since for currency drop calculations you are capped at level 68, you would be considered 4 levels above the Docks. After 2 levels a penalty begins. The penalty is 2.5% per level above 2, so 5% penalty overall.

    for progression its probably wise to deactivate most things and leave it to currency/uniques at the moment. i am sure going back to the instance (tp) is added in the future for zones.

     

    on the cruel problem. not sure haven't had such a problem. try to check waypoints for normal, and put all to "Yes" manually.

     

    keep in mind that the progression feature is still in beta, maybe its just a "bug".

    How can I tell the bot to not pick up level 68 maps using pickit file?

    open default pickit, and comment the line for picking up any map.

     

    // Take all maps, comment out if you want to specify which map to pick up bellow

    add this

     

    now it should work to configure each map.

    Thanks Stef. I'll try TCP disconnect.

     

    Just one more Question. I have to chicken quite often so TCP disconnect isn't more likely to be detected by GGG is it?

    should be safer & faster than esc + logout because afaik that esc method is using memory writing. that was also the reason why alk added the tcp disconnect method.

     

    and yes, even legit players using logout macros involving that method. mostly for hc.

    hm well.

     

    i am not familar with the control panel options in windows 10. the only thing you could check is all the options around the ease of access features (sticky keys etc. pp)

     

    anyway, what i would do/try. using the tcp disconnect instead of esc/logout. it doesn't use esc anymore, and just going to cut down the port that poe is using, which immediately kicks you back to the char screen. its the best chicken method concerning poe.

    Thanks for the response.  I did figure I could always farm a easier area, but at level 82 with a 6 link hedemoy, 5 link belly with lvl 19 ice crash figure I could farm dried lake with dying but not the case.  Other gear is actually pretty good also with over capped resists and can farm maps if I play manully.  I'm trying to get to 90 so don't want it die so will try working with the coordinates file. 

    well, the only hurdle to farm dried lake is not getting trashed by voll (smash/charge attack). tho yeah, unless you down him in a matter of seconds, you probably have to survive his attacks. with a 6l hege you should already do enough dam. maybe it is wise to go more defensive on the rest of ur build, like swapping out a herald with arctic armor, using the dam red golem etc. pp

    0 chance imo, no bot will ever be able to cope with such massive lag in a proper way. also there are some delay in the ini files you could edit.

    on such a ping you would freak out playing manually. tho not sure how a bot should do it. botting on such ping is a complete waste imo.

     

    if the latency wouldn't be so high, trying to bot with lockstep would worth a try to prevent desynch.

     

    but latency spikes up to 1500, either your vpn provider isn't very good (hopefully you dont pay a fortune for it) or you are using free trash, which no one would ever recommend that have experience on botting + poe ;)

    has nothing to do with runtimes.

     

    you deleted or moved the ExiledBot.dll. as described re - download or extract the bot again. there should be 3 necessary files in the home folder.

     

    AutoHotkey.dll

    ExiledBot.dll

    ExiledBot.exe

     

    the bold one is missing.
