No one can explain anything unless you give us more details. What instances you're running, char level, elite/non-elite, bot version, lastrun log, etc.
Best thing to do when bot stops working is download the latest version and reconfigure it from default.
Also check lastrun log to see what its saying.

Checked on one of my bots to see it dead. Nothing happened for a minute so checked lastrun log. It had been dead for quite a few mins and the log was full of this:

What does that mean and what could cause it?

Curently botting maps with no issues. Sometimes it has issues with picking maps, but I just make sure theres a lot of them in there. Also make sure the maps you are trying to get it to run arent set to ignore in the maps config. The bot doesn't run a lot of t1 maps such as trop island, dungeons, pit, because of high stuck chance.

The bot struggles with avoiding damage from most of the bosses, and so I think this would be quite difficult... mine aren't doing well against bosses in maps above tiers 4.

I had the same issue after updating and copying the config files over.
When i reconfigured from default profile, the problem disappeared. -
Bot already has an option to use a movement skill if it fails picking up an item.

I'm using a SRS which easily steam rolls any regular instances such as dried lakes. Does 1-3 maps no problems. Haven't tested higher maps yet. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1344056

Personally I like using flame dash as left click, that way the bot zips around really quickly during combat.

Idle time setting is in map heading. I wouldn't advise a 3sec max idle time...
About the movement skill, im not sure. Haven't been able to get bot to use movement skill purely for movement either. Shift while moving with left click set to movement skill doesn't seem to work for me. -
Also its good to change the graphics card name from the default VMware one. This info is very easily sent to steam and to GGG.
Just look at device manager for the default name, and then search the registry for that string and change them all to some standard card like Nvidia GTX 960. -
I've got a similar problem. When mapping in the hideout, once bot has a full inv it will loop between Hideout and map, until all portals are used up.
Anyone else encountered this? -
Hi there,
Been giving mapping a go today. The bot would do really well, until it fills its inventory up and then it would summon a portal, use it, go back to hideout, identify items and then use the portal back into the map. Once in the map it uses the portal back into the hideout. It does this until all portals are used up and then it goes to sell items and then fetches another map.
Why is it doing this constant portal use to waste the maps? -
I'm having a similar issue. I've got a heap of t1 and t2 maps. Bot skips all t1 maps and go straight for the t2s. Updated map pickup to only run t1's and it goes to run dried lakes...
The T1's ive got are Grotto, Dunes, and Crypt. -
Set firestorm to higher priority than double strike, but make firestorm require minimum monsters in range to be 2, at range of 40.

I also figured out that if replacing all the bot files including config files, u can still keep old settings by making a new profile other than the default one and reloading it once the bot has been updated.

Trade window is easily traceable. If it looks like a legit trade it should be ok.

Hi,
Just wondering, what is the proper procedure to update the bot? Just copy and replace all files?
Does this mean that all config files will be lost after each update?
I tried searching for this info in the search, but was not able to find anything. Any answers will be helpful for future references.

That's odd, mine is working perfectly in hidden mode in 0.56c.
Both bot and hidden process opened as admin?
Seriously WTF is this? Recorded position position 83 444 !!

I'll take a guess and say the positions are pixels? Since 800x600 is the window, that position is at x=83 and y=444, so somewhere on the left side, halfway up the screen??
