Hey--quick question/concern. So with the 0.25c RC version, I ran my bot last nihgt like any other night, and I woke up today and my PoE screen was at the main PoE intro screen (right before you login). I thought that was odd. I logged in and saw my bot char was in standard (I bot hardcore...because it's where I like to play). Anyway... I quickly noticed that the EB application wasn't even running. ----Interrupting my own analysis here---- I realized that in my VM, I was running an old Pot script, and so the bot didn't quit as it was supposed to. Okay np, so i ripped to user error...thats' fine with me. But, when I checked the standard stash, there was only 1 armourer's scrap. And remember the bot was down. What happened? How did the bot react well enough to the "resurrect in town" screen to stash one last thing, but seemingly not do any more runs, and then crash? Thanks!

Hey...Any decent theorycraft for Bloodlines league? Last league I ran flickerstrike which was great...but this league's going to be really rough. Some of the Bloodlines will cause AoE upon death, that could be an issue. Mainly, that Phylaric(?) Link (where only one mob can be damaged, and it rotates), is going to cause a particular issue. Even an AoE like Ground Slam or Melee Splash something, the Linked mob will likely be outside of range? I have already started leveling up a duelist. edit: I ripped to user error with my bot config...would be willing to reroll any class for efficient build ideas.

For anyone that has been botting a long time and has not been banned, what is it you do, other than VM/VPN? Do you only run bots for x amount of time? etc etc etc. A few things I've noticed that GGG might identify about botting: consistency of instance making pathing through town stash organization (or lack there of). The orb collection in a stash tab is fairly recognizable to botting... Anyone able to break these cycles or stay ban-free?

Hey...So I'm going out of town this weekend and would like to run the bot, but 72 hours straight is risky. I noticed there's a "change account" feature, but I only have 1 bot account on one vm on one vpn. Two questions: Is there a way to have the bot logoff for a period of time (similar to change account, but just logout instead for that time?) Is there a way to have the bot idle in town for a period of time. I notice that on poestats, if you have "played time" equal or damn close to "experience time" (time you were gaining experience), it's practically guaranteed botting, because no one plays for 10 hours and gets experience for 10 hours, for example. There's bathroom breaks/food breaks/trade breaks, etc. it's not constant instance running. Thanks

No., I actually invested a small sum of MTX into each of the botter accounts (i only bottted on like 2 or 3 at different times). doesn't work. It MAY have, but they're getting too big. and the auto-pot shit that leaked on reddit (about the top guy on ladder using it), and GCPman doing whatever the fuck he was doing... ye, no go. YUP! That's what I believe too. Well... I'll count myself lucky, and try to figure out how to VPN. I actually figured it out last night. Now I just need to learn how to set up my VM (per Walter White's guide) to be able to play PoE with more than 10 fucking FPS drops every 2 seconds ^_^

Question before I buy 3 more licenses
Spaceguy911 replied to topic's Spaceguy911 in Exiled Bot Programming
Thank you for your time in response. An interesting thing though, is that I'm not even trying to run multiple, just one bot in one vm. You don't think it has anything to do with the fact that 64x win7 lite wouldnt install (for whatever reason), and that im using 32x instead? also "SSD recommended" doesn't mean mandatory. The way my VM is performing would call for using the word mandatory. -

Still trying to find a solution here as to why I have shit fps on a decent rig. Is it the 32x...is it a gpu setting thing? is it my HDD? etc thx -
Section 22 of GGG's Terms of Use and Privacy makes me nervous. Particularly subsection (d). They can see what other URL's ive been to? No wonder all my accounts are banned... http://www.pathofexile.com/legal/terms-of-use-and-privacy-policy

Hey, so I have a main and then like 6 alt accounts. They kind of have different purposes. I have only ever botted on 2 of the alt accounts. Well, I was botting reaaaally heavy on one of the accounts and it got banned. Okay..so, no big deal, that was expected I suppose. But then I randomly logged into one of my alt accounts and realized it too was banned. I was like wtf...didn't think much of it (never botted on that account. never traded currency to a bot account..never rmt'd etc). Then today I got curious and tried logging into my other accounts. They are ALL banned. and...as mentioned above, definitely 1 and likely 2 of the accounts never had any illegal activity what-so-ever. My main account is not banned...My main account is a supporter account on many levels, and I've been playing for about a year. What happened here? I don't VM, I don't VPN. Did they get wise to me and just say "okay we're going to ban this little shit's accounts, but we'll give him mercy and keep his main open". I mean, can they ban my legit alt accounts just because I share the same IP? Couldn't it theoretically be a family member or something? Has anyone experienced something along these lines?

Hey. Pretty much every morning I wake up and check on my bot, there is a folder or .zip or picture sitting on my desktop is open. The bot or Multiscript is definitely doing something. I don't necessarily mind it, although today when I woke up, an application that requires to be opened as admin was opened, and the bot was stuck because the "Are you sure you want to open this program as admin" box was blocking where the bot was supposed to click to get to the wp. I could probably clean my desktop a bit, and I might, but I would rather just fix the issue at the root of the problem. I run win 7, EB and Multi

Edit: I did some research and figured out where VM Tools is. I click VM > Reinstall VM Tools Ran through the installer just by clicking next. It didn't fix my fps By the way I'm in the game now. Sitting in town its... 59-63 fps for about 1 second, then drops to 32 for a split second. Does that just sitting in town. What does that say about perforamcne issue? My Frame Rate ms is a complete inverse relation. it hangs at ~17 and then pops up to 31 when the FPS dips. What is this? -

I used whatever Walter suggested. That means vm 7. 1000 mb of memory if I recall. And 2/1 for cores processors or processors cores (can't remember the order. 2 of one and 1 of the other). Thanks. I'll keep checking in in case there are any more questions or suggestions. -
Hey, I love EB. I run it on my computer now. I want to set up VM and run multiple bots, like 4... So I would need to buy new licenses. I have a decent amount of disposable income so the $ isn't the issue. I used WalterWhite's completely awesome guide to set up my VM. It worked on the first try, which was very exciting for me considering I am not a computer guy per se. The only issue I had, is my mobo (or something) was preventing me from running 64 bit system, so I do have Win Lite 32 bit installed. I heard 32 causes shadow or lightning issues..i really don't care considering it will be botting. While playing and botting in the VM, I didn't notice any lightning/flickering issues anyway, if that's relevant. So my issue that I need to resolve before setting up additional VM and purchasing licenses is that of performance. When botting (and again I'm not sure if this is related to the 32 bit setup because that's the only difference between mine and Walter's setup), or playing for that matter, I have terrible FPS. Like...I didn't see the number but it's low. Playable, kind of, but not safe... Just bad FPS... Does anyone know why this is? Is it my HD? Is it my RAM, my CPU...is it the 32 bit thing? Do I need to change a graphics setting somewhere (i.e. in options > video in POE, the VM says it's running off some shitty built-in GPU. I guess it isn't picking up my NVIDIA? not sure if that's supposed to be). Anyway, as mentioned I have relatively limited computer knowledge, but I will post some information that might be helpful: Win 7 Professional is my main OS Drivers are all up to date mobo is a MSI 7681 64 bit on my main OS Processor: intel core i5-2500k cpu @3.30ghz, 3301 mhz 4 cores installed memory 8 gb total physical memory 7.98 total virtual memory 16.00 (?) nvidia geforce gtx 560 Ti (Twin Frozr I believe it was called) hard drive : Something called a WDC WD10 SCSI Disk Device. It's a HDD I believe, 1T of info. got about 800 gigs on it now. Thanks so much. I love the work you guys have done and I hope to continue financial support as soon as get a stable VM. Edit: Just to recap: these performance issues are ONLY in the Virtual Machine -- playing off my main OS is completely smooth and fine (both playing and botting)

I'm clueless to code and what's going into the process. After reading the OP's post, it sounds insanely complicated. Anyways, I'm curious why this particular patch is taking longer than normal (normal being...well, I've been around for about 7 updates thus far and they were all almost instantaneous). Are the devs working on it? Are they/he out of town? What is the rationale? Thanks.

Bot logs in then clicks where the "login" button is. I downloaded and am running from v .22d I didn't transfer ANY docs or information from my old bot. I'm pretty sure I have it set up correctly. This isn't my first time updating the bot and reconfiguring everything manually. Is this a common problem. What am i doing wrong... thanks

[Anti-Ban] /hideout after using portal...

Mapping from hideout would be an option. Also, it's not terribly difficult to find Zana on your bot char and stick her in your hideout real quick... -
[Anti-Ban] /hideout after using portal...
Spaceguy911 replied to topic's Spaceguy911 in Exiled Bot Feature Request
That's awesome. Thanks for the update! I think it will be a huge perk to EB. Mainly since the hideouts really expose bots a bit easier now, because 90% of legit players are farming from their hideout...not looping docks/catas from a3 merci town. Oh, not sure how simple it would be as long as the "stash", "vendor_of_player's_choice", and "Map Device" are in 1 screen's distance from the WP (aka close to the wp). I know we toy with coordinates when trying to vendor properly. We could probably toy with X and Y coords to identify the above "three" locations properly. -
Really well said Ash. I agree that random town movements would be key. Also, yes I feel that APM (Actions Per Minute) is a huge tell. Character is making 200 bot runs over 8 hours, each run is around 6 minutes (just random numbers), that would be a tell... Humans aren't reaaally doing that. Humans take breaks, humans do some trading in between. Even the most disciplined grinders won't be in the docks or catas that long. Maps is a slightly different story... Yes -- Mixing in some legit playing seems a great strategy.

So I'll start: When you were banned (can tell from your log): 11:56 PM EST Saturday -- Would be roughly 4:56 PM Sunday NZ time. How long was your current botting session before you were banned (can tell from your log): I was botting for about 40 minutes and ran about 13 runs. What was the last thing your bot was doing as you got banned (you guessed it, log): Bot came up from town after run completion, identified items, moved to a position, disconnect. Have you received bans on that IP before?: This was a first Any other information you may think is pertinent: N/A 2014-09-27 23:56:18 [info] -> Idling... 2014-09-27 23:56:18 [info] -> Exploring to position(4586.106934, 8512.236328, -347.845001). The idea here is that once you are banned, share your "lastrun.log" found in ExiledBotFolder/Log/ My theory is that admins sit in town and watch you. I feel the easy (well I don't know if it's easy because I'm not a coder) fix would be to somehow go to hideout immediately after you tp to town after a run. Some things to include if you'd like to participate in this science: When you were banned (can tell from your log): How long was your current botting session before you were banned (can tell from your log): What was the last thing your bot was doing as you got banned (you guessed it, log): Have you received bans on that IP before?: Any other information you may think is pertinent: Please post the pertinent end information from your lastrun.log in code like this

Hey, so I'm quite certain that (at least) one way that GGG bans people is by town watching. Just from sitting and watching my bot for a couple runs (after making tweaks; making sure things run smooth), it's cringe-worthy how obvious the botting pattern is. If I wanted to sit in a3 merci town, I could tell you if someone was botting in two seconds. I actually got banned the other night, running only 13 runs. On a fairly new account, new to botting. I guarantee I was in a town instance with an Admin. Suggestion: Go through portal and then type /hideout (boom you're in your god damn hideout). Now you can run your silly little pattern of IDing items, selling items, vendoring items, waypoint -- no one would know...no one would see. It'd be great. The only thing that could be visible is popping up town portal 100 times over, but that is still such a smaller pattern to track. I wish I knew the slightest bit about coding. Is it easy to put the code in to type /hideout once you have towned?...

Hey, I found this post through some searching, and I think it would be great if someone could add the information for Beyond bosses. I was monitoring my bot (thank god) because I popped a boss, Haast (the ice guy). I went into the chicken on sight section of Exiled Bot and Enabled and added "Haast, Unrelenting Frost" I went back into the instance after reloading the bot etc, and he didn't chicken. I also tried Haast. I have range set to 2000. I got right next to him, in fact my bot was just attacking him over and over... Any genius thoughts? Is this even possible?

I could do more I suppose, but I only have one key for now. I probably wont be able to run more than 1 bot until get this VM figured out so that it's not choppy. I put it on 1 core 2 processor, or whatever it recommended core/processor or processor/core.
