jbk 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2017 Hello fellow boters! It's my first experience with boting. I've started in last friday. Everyting is pretty much fine. Progression worked nicely with a bit of my help until end of act 2. Now my bot is in act 3, a bit overleveled, so I tought I will make progress myself. So here is my question: is it safe to play without virtual machine software and just use vpn I use for my bot? I'm using steam for bot and another steam accout for my main. When I'm using vm game looks terrible in it and it has low fps. I want to finish act 3 myself outside VM just with vpn. Is it safe?
zelda420 6 Report post Posted March 6, 2017 I wouldn't recommend it, I've heard they track hardware id as well as winows I'd which means if you arent on a VM then it will show both accounts logged from same I'd basically

zelda420 6 Report post Posted March 6, 2017 If you are using vmware 12.5 that could be causing the issues with lag spikes. I've heard of other people using version 7 I think which I've heard doesn't have the lag spike issues

zelda420 6 Report post Posted March 7, 2017 No idea then, you can try looking in the guides section, there is a vritual machine guide that may help with your latency issues. I know when I was using a virtual machine the game had lag spikes every 5-10 seconds. I heard it may have been an issue with the drivers, but never figured out what the actual problem was and gave up on virtual machines. I'm running an i5-3570k over clocked to 4.2 ghz and gtx 660ti superclocked, so I really shouldn't have had issues with the game with or without a virtual machine.
