ChiefNoob 2 Report post Posted February 12, 2014 AMD 8350 16 GB DDR3 2x 120GB SSD AMD Radeon 7770 GPU or higher This should be much cheaper than 1k$ and should hold 8 bots and still let you use the computer, you can also do a lot of other stuff with it if in the future you move from botting

masterpulha 157 Report post Posted February 13, 2014 One thing i forgotDepending on how many bots you have in mind to run, a good options its to have more SSD, imagine you want to run 10 for example, the system will be more stable using an SSd for each 5 bots. 64gb SSD are pretty cheap now, so you may add one to your build just to have some extra vm + poe game

CPU bottleneck will hit you, as the bot cannot have enough cpu to process therefore it will lag and die as it misses instructions. SSD only helps with the I/O bottle neck, the CPU bottle neck is a physical limitation, you cannot force the pc to do more instructions then it can possibly do. What i mean is if you using your computer and having the vm running your bots at same time it gets more stable if you don't have all your bots and poe in same ssd you using your OS/browser/apps etc. At least with me it does, i used to have them all in same SSD, and get stupid lag and death that stopped when i putted some bots in a different drive. Its rock solid now and i still mine coins at same time

cynicz 7 Report post Posted February 15, 2014 ok if you have a microcenter near you. i picked up this pc for 650 out the door But i also added a wireless card, optic drive, and mouse + keyboard for 650 where as buying online its like 680 without that stuff not factoring shipping. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2TniY i just quickly threw that together you can get a 1tb 7200rpm HDD for about 15$ cheaper than the one I put on there. standard clock 8320 and i run 7 flawless, can run 8-9 but starts to get slightly laggy depending on builds im running. This is the PC you teamviewed running 7 bots no sense in paying 1grand for something a 650$ pc will do

Meleos 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2014 Don't spend too much on graphic card. I run 8 bots with a shitty R7 250 with 50% GPU load. You buy a R7 260x, you loose money not only when u buy it but with power consumption too.
