I mean, isn't my main account safe if I just don't use it ? I don't really care if they ban my new poe account, but is it possible that my main account gets banned somehow ? Is it likely to happen ? With a VPN they can't see your IP, they see the VPN server's IP, and what "hwid" are you referring to.. I doubt they are pulling MAC etc from Windows, would seem a little invasive and likely illegal. With a virtual machine that's all made up anyway, and layer 2 (MAC) information isn't passed via packets/communications past your home router to start with, your layer 3 IP is then erased by the VPN, which only leaves them essentially windows file systems, your hardware as registered in windows, or client settings to look at.
