    Multiple accounts flagged

Pronoob, by community IP, I mean a VPN tunnel public IP address. One that many of the VPN service's customers use to stay anonymous. CyberGhost wasn't cheap. I think it's $100/year with some sales every so often. If CyberGhost is the problem, shit - I'm getting my money back. If I post back here, it's a bad sign.

    Multiple accounts flagged

Interesting. So they DO ban by MAC? But, they must not ban by default gateway MAC because my primary account is still not flagged. However, my VM uses NAT network mode rather than bridged, so really my host computer is the default gateway, and they did NOT ban the MAC of my host computer, since I can still play. If GGG is able to detect the MAC address of my virtual NIC, that's fucking scary. Just thinking of what else they'd be able to figure out is enough to make me bust out the ol' tinfoil hat. On a side note, I attempted to register a new PoE account using a CyberGhost IP, and the website informed me that the IP was banned. Kiev, Ukraine. Confirmed: GGG has the balls to ban a community IP address used by thousands of people.

The long of the short of it is - I can bot but I can't reap the rewards if the loot is BoA until the impending ban. I must be doing something wrong.

    Multiple accounts flagged

Sup guys? Thanks for taking the time to hear me out. Last December, I created a virtual machine (VMware 10 on Windows 7 x86) and created a PoE account using a CyberGhost IP address. I pay for the VPN service (not that it means anything, at the end of the day), so not too many people use that particular IP address. My Marauder was leveled from 1-25 via botting various zones. I didn't do quests, I botted zones twelve levels lower than my level - a shit load of suspicious activity. It was ridiculous and I'm surprised I wasn't flat-out banned. However, at level 25 I wasn't able to trade currency. Level 26? Nope. 27? Still no. I emailed GGG asking why, and this is what I received: I apologise for the time it's taken for me to get back to you. The delay is due to a backlog of emails and, unfortunately, this has lead to quite a few disruptions to many of our ongoing account investigations. With regard to your own account investigation, I've got to unfortunately inform you that we've completed our investigation into your account, and the after reviewing the information we've gathered, I'm afraid that the team has decided to permanently close your account for breaching our terms of use. Typos aside, that's fine; it's been a long time coming. So, I created a new account using the same IP address. Now remember it's a VPN - thousands of people use it. Maybe only 50-100 at a time, but thousands have used it. I created a Duelist (bot) and leveled from 1-25 via botting. Yet this time I simulated how a normal player would behave. I used all eight skill slots, I looted rares, I spoke in the trade channels, I only played 4-6 hours per day (during the same window), I did all quests, I partied with people, it was hardcore mode - the list goes on. I just reached level 25 last night - can't trade currencies. I'm flagged again. I literally sat in front of the monitor for EVERY SINGLE kill made on this bot. It's almost as if I were the one playing (just without hands). There is absolutely no way this bot was flagged as a bot, unless they somehow detected the unusually extreme skill-level of a new account (bots are pros). Yes, it was the same IP as the bot I previously created - but it's a paid VPN. Would they really flag ALL activity on that IP, or did they get my VM's MAC, or did they somehow detect suspicious behavior? Thoughts?
  6. I upgraded to 0.17e from d, and this is what happens now.

Bot is vendoring, but not stashing after

Alright here's what happens exactly... 1. Bot finishes a run and logs out. 2. Bot logs in and correctly identifies any rare items (like I've specified) 3. Bot clicks Nessa and sells items ONE BY ONE. (Causing sporadic clicking around the general area of Nessa between selling) ---The bot sometimes accidentally clicks on the stash, since it's so close. And that's the end of selling. It stashes the stuff I wanted to sell and starts another run. 4. If the bot successfully sells everything, it clicks the stash to stash stuff. But it ONLY STASHES THE ITEMS IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER and the box below the top left corner (two squares). It ignores everything else. I've already declared in the pickit file that the bot should stash ALL currencies (listed them individually by name). Clearly this isn't working. Suggestions?
  9. Isn't the bot supposed to stash items after EACH run? Mine just runs to the stash, clicks it, and then starts to head towards the waypoint. Doesn't even try to stash anything.

    Stashing Specific Items

May be difficult to implement, but +1

    Lifestyles of bots & mules

The lifespan of a bot is usually short and sweet. Like any street criminal - they get into trouble, and wind up in jail (banned) at an early age. The lifespan of a mule however, I'm not entirely sure of. I'd like to consider them the "drug dealer" of the botting industry. They don't really do the drugs, but they are prone to being thrown in jail at any moment due to possession of illegal substances (banned for possession of items obtained via botting). My question is: can we have one mule? If each bot and mule uses its own IP address, is there any reason to use multiple mules? My original plan was to have one mule specifically designated to holding currency items, while another mule held gems, etc. Now, these two mules would be two entirely separate accounts. But, is that really necessary? How will they find me out? I'd much rather purchase additional stash tabs and use one mule for everything. Is there really so much risk that I need to use multiple mule accounts? Input please!!

    Dedicated Botting Computer

Agreed. If anything, buy a dedicated computer, install ~5 VMs on it, and bot using those (all using different IPs). That way you can bot without sacrificing CPU power.

Waypoint coordinate issue since game launch

It selects the difficulty - then the act - then the area, and totally skips the "New" button. It doesn't even try to click it!

Waypoint coordinate issue since game launch

Ahh just kidding. It worked once and now it doesn't work anymore!

Waypoint coordinate issue since game launch

    Brilliant! Thank you!
  16. Hey there! So, I've downloaded and activated the new bot that works with the official launched version. When my bot goes to the waypoint, it clicks on the difficulty first, then the waypoint on the map (any way point - same issue with all), and then instead of clicking "New", it just goes back to click the difficulty again. This loops forever! Is this a known issue?

This brings me back, Thank You!

I got into Diablo 2 botting pretty late, but I know exactly what you mean man. Every day was like Christmas morning. I'd wake up before my high-school alarm clock to check my overnight findings. These guys are fucking geniuses! If the bot is ever in jeopardy of having enough funds to continue improvements, you can count on me to keep giving!

    Few questions about running bots...

Hey guys, I recently got my first bot to work! I have a few questions about the bot. Please let me know what you think!! 1. Is there any way to have the bot loot flasks? If no, are there any plans to develop that feature? 2. Is there any way to have the bot loot items that would sell for a Chromatic Orb (3L each color socket)? If no, are there any plans to develop that feature? 3. With that said, are there any plans to have the bot auto-identify yellow items and sell vendor them periodically? 4. Does the bot loot maps? 5. Are there any plans to have the bot be able to run maps? 6. Are there any plans to implement a "timer", so a bot can run unattended for days, but have an ~8hr "rest" period (to simulate sleeping). 7. Is there a "pause" button? I find the only way to stop the bot is by fighting for control of the mouse (or Alt + F4). But if I'm watching, I sometimes would like to pause and pick up an item I see. 8. When the bot is released to elite members only, can we purchase additional licenses in the future? 9. Has anyone else experienced issues with running Normal Act III Docks? The bot can't seem to click the waypoint successfully. Runs fine after I select is manually. 10. Can the bot run in a virtual environment? I have PoE running on an Ubuntu VM, but there is no video (since it's a VM). I hear sound, and my mouse clicks register. The bot doesn't need video to run. It can still perform runs on a black screen right? 11. If you're constantly transferring items that the bot found to a mule (or primary) account, is there any chance that that mule (or primary) account can be banned along with the bot? 12. A little more in-depth. I can probably figure this out on my own, but I may as well ask for expert advice. I'm running one bot over a PIA SSL VPN tunnel (paid service). I also plan on running bots in tandem via multiple VMs in the future. But, I'm pretty sure they all use the same IP (from the VPN service). How do I make sure all of my bots are on different IPs to avoid IP bans or rangebans? THANKS!!
