Are you using Workstation Pro or Workstation Player? I got this error too. 2 things to try: 1. If using Player, at the top left of Workstation window click the Player drop down > Manage > Install VMware Tools. Install and then restart. 2. Make sure you are running 64-bit POE. From my experience, the shortcut that is added to the desktop after installation is 32-bit. Go to C:\Program Files\GGG or wherever you installed the game, and make sure you use the 64-bit executable. Good luck.
