i made this small guide because ive met quite a number of ppl who dont know how to use script with this bot. most ppl in this forum would use script based on Autohotkey program, so when someone said script it usually meant Autohotkey / AHK General Installation Tutorial 1. Download and Install AHK so, first step Google AHK or Autohotkey and Download go to http://www.autohotkey.com/ click download select the approriate version for your VM or Bot system so if your VM is win 7, 64bit download the 64bit ver and of course install the AHK for ppl who like to keep their AHK files in their Main system / Host and VM access the AHK files through Shared Folders i would suggest installing AHK in your HOST and your VM 2. Creating / Copying a script now for my example im going to use the most widely used script : Chat Channel Advertising / Spamming **ps: this script mostly will not hinders your Toon activities, u can kill, cast skill, pick up stuff, open stash, etc while this script spamms the trade chat F9 = will Reload the script and stops the spamming F10 = Panic button, if the script went haywire and cause your pc to the brink of blowing up, F10 will force close this script F8 = run script F9::Reload F10::Exitapp F8:: SendMode Input Loop { Send {ENTER} Send /trade 100 Send {ENTER} sleep, 1000 Send {ENTER} Send /trade %A_Index% Send {ENTER} Sleep, 1000 Send {ENTER} Send {Up 3} Send {ENTER} sleep, 1000 Send {ENTER} Send /trade 100 Send {ENTER} sleep 1000 If A_Index = 10 Break else Sleep, 1000 } Copy the above code and paste it into your prefered text editor ex: Notepad Save the file to Desktop (u can move it later to wherever u like) click Save as Type > All files name the file : Trade Spam.ahk u should see this kind of icon in your Desktop right : icon have red H, this means the file is AHK file and ready for launch wrong : icon looks like a normal Notepad files, this means u need to change the extension from .txt to .ahk 3. Running Your Script double click the files (with red H) u just saved and if all goes well u should see this icon on your taskbar (lower right corner) Congratulation your script is now running and ready for execution Script Specific Parts This tutorial will cover on How To use the above example script specifically, other scripts may have different how-to to use this script : 1. in game, type anything u want to the trade channel and press enter 2. Press F8 3. make some coffe + bagel and enjoy your afternoon tea while the script looks for potential customer 4. when a potential customer Whisper / PM you, pres F9 to stop the script 5. if something went wrong and the script refused your command to stop and starts killing kittens immedeately press F10 Thats is for now, if ppl like my guide, i will update this guide / tutorial with more info such as : How to get good looking and easy readable text editor for AHK

agree, the above suggestion would be the best, since the dev seems a bit too busy to deal with bug atm

confirm this old bug and its getting more prevalent in this version M always on act 3, sometimes on act 2

version J K L M all give me a slightly off coords and im not the only one it seems

i agree with Parthekos , lets not talk yet about new features, just fix the bug first pls .... its been like this since january

yeah this happens to me a few times too, and i allready put up this bug on the vote panel but you are correct the longer the Toon's name , the more likely bot will missclick ps: Dear Santa, what i want for this christmas is for Exiledbot to get rid of the atrocious back and forth bug....

i dont understand why ppl are having such trouble with aura, i never had any trouble with aura from 0.14f all im doing is set the aura ONLY in qwert not on mouse everything is default tick Is Aura ps : i have couple toon running 4 aura the only problem i have is : - we have aura on - bot enters map - bot cannot detect that it allready has Aura up - bot release aura W - bot turn on aura W - bot release aura E - bot turn on aura E and so on but after the bot properly turns on all aura it would run just fine its just the bot cannot detect aura at the start of instance

i want to report a new ive been noticing since 0.15d but i think this bug does not relate directly to Exiledbot rather maybe its poe bug 1. Cannot Loot Item ok this bug is rather odd, sometimes i noticed the bot would stuck trying loot certain orbs this is what happen : - cursor is stuck at the orbs - i took over and manually move the cursor and bot would immediately snap back the cursor to the item - pause bot (F12) - i tried throwing some stuff on the ground - loot it , success - i went back to that strange orb and tryied to loot it , success .... - and i thought, maybe lag ? - and i can confirmed this is NOT caused by lag this is how i confirmed : - when on other occasion bot stuck on same problem, - i pause bot, find some mob, - pull it closer to where the strange orb is - try loot strange orb > failed - kill mob > success ( no lag noticed at all) - try to Loot again > failed - throw stuff on ground > loot it > success - loot strange orb > success and i have repeat this process on more than 10 seperate occasion all tries end with the same result so u see if its caused by lag, then i would notice the lag when i kill the mob, and i did check my latency with F1, and its normal under 50-70ish no spiking at all my guess : is this a new type of safety check done by GGG ? i hope my explanation is clear enough anyone else having this problem ? 2. Clicking Waypoint in Town is not opening up Window Map Selection another odd bug that i observe is coming since these last few days - bot spamming Left_click on waypoint which made it running around the waypoint like an idiot without any window popping up - pause bot (f12) - click manually on waypoint > no window pops ..... lag ? - tried asking random stuf in global chat > succces > ppl even reply to my random question - tried click waypoint again > Failed - run manually to the nearest portal in town ( act 3 > Sarn Slums) > Success .... not lag ? POE bug ? - go back to town, tried clicking waypoint again > Failed..... - manual Relog - tried Clicking waypoint > Success > window Map Selection pops up..... my guess : GGG safety check ? because bot open too many new instance ? i did change the Max Run Time : 300 seconds (5 Minutes) why i changed the timer ? because of the back and forth bug, this way if bot is stuck on back and forth, it would only stuck for 5 mins max and this would make my bot creating new instance every 5 minutes what do u guys think ? anyone had similar problem ?

another idea is to have some sort of timer - bot is moving from point A to point B - if bot cannot reach point B or C in 30 sec - relog this would also help with bot stuck on corner of stairs, altho the default 60 sec of idle kicks in on this bug and i think timer such as this need to be implemented into all the bot behaviour for instance my bot got stuck today for 9 hours in town trying to click waypoint its a new bug but i dont think its related to Exiledbot when i take over manually clicking waypoint in town does not bring up the map selection i had to restart poe IF the bot has a failsafe timer on map selection and can Restart POE bot would not stuck for 9 hours in my opinion all the Infinite Loop Bug is because the bot routine does not have any failsafe for example the old and allready dead bug : Stuck on trying to Break Vase the solution was adding a timer, which i think the timer shouldve been there in the first place

tested this for about 4-5 hours no luck, bot still doing the stupid dance for more than 15 minutes, how did u manage to get the bot only doing the dance 60 sec ?

60 second ? id be happy enough if my bot can do this, hmm maybe i should let him use teleport scroll

yes ofr me also this 99% of the time, please add this into the poll option let me try to clarify this : - bot fighting mob A > mob A dies - bot has xxx timer to wait and see if there is a useable loot or not ** Lag happen : while this lag happens bot decide there is no Loot > on to Exploring - suddenly the previous mob A drops Loot, when the bot allready decide that there is no Loot and is in the middle of Exploring mode - something triggers the bot and force him to walk back to the Suddenly Appeared Loot - this 2 behaviour walk back to loot and exploring has the same priority and thus bot cannot decide what to do this is like what i have stated waaay back in my previous post and on bot version 0.14f https://exiled-bot.net/community/index.php/topic/1978-014f-loot-problem-running-back-and-forth-endlessly-until-relogs/ judging by ppl replying to this thread im pretty confident that my early analysis about this bug (last month) is somewhat spot on so to avoid any wasted effort on the dev trying to look in the wrong place im going to Hold on my vote until Alk gives the option : its most of the time between walking back to loot and exploring

hmm this is odd i never had this problem from 0.14f - 0.15d im pretty sure its something wrong with your skill setup what skill are u using for primary attack ? lets start with 1 skill

Alk this is what happen to all my bot, after every return to town (using town portal of course, because using relog will dismiss the aura) the bot ALWAYS forgot he has Auras UP so in every Map Re-Run bot will ALWAYS re-cast Aura

1. i agree this happens quite a lot too, but after a bit more observation Bot is not actually FIGHTING, it actually tries to Break something (vase,box,urn, etc), how do i know this ? i change the Key To Use On Fail : Mouse_left after changing this the bot didnt spam skill/attacking at all, bot would just stand there like a statue 2.AGREE 3. agree with this one too, but not such a big problem for me, since for a 24 hour period this bug didnt filled my stash, so for now, i dont really mind this bug

yeah i agree this is the single most annoying bug this bug is happening more and more often like every 3-5 minutes and this bug has allready 34 vote 50%+ of all the ppl voting in here

nope, i know that the bot used constant checking for Elite keys to the Exiledbot server, so i did not even tried it after a long and aggravating day i finally found what was the problem DNS -_______- all went fine after i changed the DNS from my automatic (from isp) to google and i found this after : re installing 5 different VM's re installing VM to 2 dofferent PC, 1 laptop 5 times formatting Box (trying different os) i even tried win 8 as last resort changing Router changing Modem changing Lan Cable ( lol i know im desperate) oh well everything is fine now, thanks for checking in my problem guys
