Bot won't pass the Character Selection Screen

I set up everything in the config files, but for some reason, the bot won't select a character to log in with.

Here's my config file:

Make sure you're running the game in 800x600 window resolution, your character is in the first slot of the selection screen and character_to_use= is "0", that you're using standalone PoE and also winXP has alot of problems.

I am using the stand alone client. I have windows 7 64bit, and the resolution is correct.

I used to run this bot back in alpha mid july. Haven't used it since, but i never had this issue before. It always worked great.

Are you using the steam client or stand-alone? Also winXP has alot of problems..

WinXp was the problem of the user

They were taken at different times. Here's my config file again, I've tried messing with settings, but still nothing. It refuses to select a char.

Same problem here. downloaded the bot today. setup is the same. winxp too. Character in first slot (eq 0 in config).

It does log in but wont pass the character screen.

i get this issue on win7 64bit and win8 64bit, 0.11c and 0.11d RC

shot in the dark, but is anyone else running Synergy (mouse/keyboard sharing software) by any chance? in the middle of installing win7 32bit on vmware.. can't interrupt to try again with it off

also, maybe comodo internet security? it's been known to cause a lot of issues with other software in the past..

logs into acct and curser sits below delete./create char and does nothing. Have tried bot char position 0 & 1 neither work

if I pause it on log in screen self select my char put in town or any wp and unpause it the bot runs continuously to the right then down till it hits a wall and pins itself there does not attack and monsters

well if you dont know what it is then your not, but steam is a streaming gameing platform and poe can be played from it now after release but last i knew the bot didnt work with it.

Maybe it helps to redefine the position of the cursor in char select, look my other post:

Might have to do with screen resolution, but just speculating.

EDIT: I played around with the x,y values for the character settings. they don't affect the mouse position at all. just stays there as i said.

Sounds like the bot isn't registering that the client has actually logged in and idk how to help, sorry

I was having this problem in Win7 and I ran the bot and path of exile as administrator and it works great for me now. Let me know

Because of some issues, i re-downloaded the v0.12 bot and started all over, this time i did not have to change the position setting. Weird.

@ walterwhite: well my account does have administrator rights. I tried running game & bot with the genuine "Administrator" account. No changes. Still stuck at char selection.

My account has genuine administrator rights as well, but for some reason right click --> Run as Administrator fixed it for me. I'm using 0.11D version of the bot
