How safe is it?

Im new to POE botting alltough I play since couple of years. So how safe is it if I bot 5hrs/day on my main? got 4000 Hrs playtime and 5+ supporter titles.

 

Im doing it on my main because of the race and not to make $$

 

 

Is it even possible to detect the client because of the way it works?

I think it can be detected if it encounter a bug and starts looping the same action for a long time. So if you play on your main, I think you have to babysit it all the time, which is what I do. If you see it looping, intervene immediately.

There is always risk associated with doing anything that breaks ToS.  I also have supporters titles, and I have raced and won rewards.  I will not bot on that account.... period.

 

Create alt account for racing, win your shit, move it to your main would be my recommendation.

I remember checking these forums a while back, and it was also recommended to always use a proxy, does this still hold true?

yeah, never do it on main ip. I've got a ton of bots banned even if i was watching them running(especially true while doing acts, mapping is safer). Certain patterns etc could trigger a ban.
