andromeda05 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2015 I am not an experienced programmer but I am a system admin. I received my first ban about a month ago and started thinking about what got me identified and corrected what I could. But one of the things that I cant change is something I would look for if I was GGG the resolution of most of the botters is 800x600. Again I don't Know how you programmed the bot, but is there a way to program the bot to run at a different resolution? I think this would remove a way of filtering the possible botters. Again this may be my ignorance talking, but please enlighten me one way or the other??
heisenburger 7 Report post Posted December 2, 2015 I imagine a lot of legitimate players also use 800x600. To avoid false bans, GGG most likely doesn't ban you unless you're being extremely suspicious, like running a flagged process in your system or doing something really unusual in their system (like repeating the same action for a long time, running 24/7, using VM+VPN). SupZerg 99 Report post Posted December 2, 2015 I agree with heisenburger, checking players resolution would only mess up the whole bot detection system.
pearl2000 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2016 I agree with heisenburger, checking players resolution would only mess up the whole bot detection system. Anyways I'd like also like to be able to change the resolution for the bot. I'm getting tired of changing resolution when switching from bot mode to manual mode.
