A general review and feature request

Hey,

after some days of testing and playing around with the one and other helper skript, i feel its my turn to give a little feedback and want to point out, what might be the most important things for the upcoming releases from my point of view.

My Background (just skip if tl;dr):

I have been playing a MMORPG called MU with various bots (including a bot that was released by the game developer itself after it was realized that most of the community used bots of some kinds) for years and saw the development from a simple autoclicker (the game had mob respawn on spot) to an kind of autoall with selective pickup, stash placement and repoting including password protected partyplay and so on. I botted various browser games before I got banned from that badly developed Blizz game (and was not too sad about that) and moved on to PoE.

To me botting is kind of more interesting than the gaming itself, since i simply lack time to play a lot but love to develop chars and builds.

Computer specs:

regular Intel I7 Notebook with 4GB RAM and Geforce GT 630M

Additional Scripts I use for PoE bot:

Aurascript

the Pathfinding substitute script you find on the forums

Botting Char:

Templar using mace + shield, which i only played by hand to get new waypoints/proceed quests and is level 26 now

Skills for botting:

Wrath with the original aura script (skript works fine here)

(wanna test tempest shield on the rewritten aura script from phoenixholland (uses different detection for active/not active))

Etheral Knives + Fork for long range (works like a charm)

Shield Charge to rush to mobs when they are in mid range (works ok to really good)

Different Meelee skills for very close range(still figuring out which is the best when it come to DPS vs Manausage)

(Will test Leap Slam for get less stuck as Skill 1 on next session)

Feedback:

Bot works like a charm:

semi afk: can help on stuck to get faster farming/exping (Leap Slam may help here too)

afk: got serveral Lvls Afk, bot still working after 6 hours of non stop afk

Feature Request in order of urgency:

1) Open Chests/Crates/...

will help to get more Currency/hour and seems to be potentially easier to programm than other updates

(basically what i want most)

2) Selective picking and unload to stash

no need to be super sophisticated as of now: just pick all yellow and unique and drop to stash sorting of the items could be maintained manually as of now

3) for really LONGTERM:

Pathfinding (allthough not really need with relog + scripts as of now, since bot farms areas not too bad by attack distance and move script and the inactivity relog works well)

Area changes while botting (either bot just keeps moving to next area until logofftimer kicks in or definned set of maps in config which are started randomly (avoid the repetitive logging))

All in all in happy with the product as it just works fine here.

P.S. I am not able to write my own scripts and am bad at modifying the available ones, so call me end-user, still this bot is easy to setup and works really nicely, specially given the fact of its release state. So if anyone is interested i can write a little tutorial on how i setup the bot and why i do it like that and how i setup the skills and scripts i use from the point of view of an technical illeterate .

Thanks a lot for your feedbacks, we really appreciate those kinds of reviews because it helps us to focus on the good things.

Your analysis is pretty accurate and we also think we have to implement those things.

A "noobie" guide would be welcome it's always cool to find ready-to-use setups when you're a newcomer
