Vmware crashing when also running poe on physical

Vmware only crashes when im also running poe on my physical desktop, not sure what the problem is. Only running one VM. Thinking it may be some sort of conflict with cpu cores. It shouldn't be my hardware, anyone have any ideas?

 

running vm on 2-cores with 8 gigs or ram (should be overkill)

Intel 3930 six-core @ 3.8 ghz- Liquid Cooled

Asus Rampage VI

32 gb Corsair Vengeance @ 2200mhz

Geforce 770 GTX Lightning - No OC atm

Corsair SSD

Cooler Master case - Keeps system icecold
