Bot stuck on character selection

The bot successfully launches game however the bot proceeds to ignore login and attempt to select character.  If the bot is started in game (hideout, town) it will still attempt to select character ad infinitum.  If bot is started at character select, it successfully chooses character, but repeats character selection loop.

 

Bot version: beta 0.78b

the same thing happens to me, but how do you make the game work in directx9? I thought the game could not stand it anymore

Hello,

I face that issue too. I fixe that issue by launching the game without the bot and need to edit the graphic setting and save making sure I set the game in windows mode and the window size to 800x600.

 

Then I safe I close the game and when I lunch it again with the Bot. Everthing was working fine. So make sure you haven't change a graphic setting that could impact the bot.

Graphic setting wise, i've always been in 800x600 mode.  For manually switching to direct x 9, you need to go to your production_Config.ini in the Documents/My Games/Path of Exile folder and manually change the directx_version=11 to 9.  I don't know if this actually fixes anything because i still haven't been able to get the bot to run properly.

Maybe it's because poe was updated this weekend and there has not been an update of the bot since March 15

The bot work fine on my side. Take time and Read the Readme that come with the Bot Package. You should be able to resolve your problem following it.

I have followed the readme, and looked all over the forum, idk whats going on. as soon as i hit start bot it just keeps clicking where top character slot is no matter what.

Hi Guys,

I look at my log file and base on what I can read on yours and read on mine, It appear that you are still trying to load the Directx9 driver at the right resolution.

On my side it said auto. The last files it load is the production_config.ini from this location on your PC I believe: "Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\production_Config.ini"

So your problem lie within that file. So you need to open that file and track the line that said "directx_version=" and try set it to auto.

Here what my ini file said and it work just fine:

I have the configuration as you and the problem persists. I tried to load it without attaching it to any process but it does not work either. I am running it in x64 and I have installed DirectX End-User Runtime and Visual C ++ 2017 Redistributable Package (x64)

On which app do you hide the bot with? I use notepad++ and keep a file always open so it stay properly hidden.
