@ walterwhite: well my account does have administrator rights. I tried running game & bot with the genuine "Administrator" account. No changes. Still stuck at char selection.

@zoomiko: tried that. didn't help. Cursor stays at the position of the "login" button of the login screen and doesn't move at all to select the char. EDIT: I played around with the x,y values for the character settings. they don't affect the mouse position at all. just stays there as i said.

got the standalone version now. still same problem. wont pass character select screen. Using winXP.

actually i was Downloading standalone client now

Same problem here. downloaded the bot today. setup is the same. winxp too. Character in first slot (eq 0 in config). It does log in but wont pass the character screen. whats the difference between steam version and standalone?
