Need Help on Settings for Totem Build
PWFTrojaner replied to topic's apwkid in Character builds and strategies & Bot setups
there is currently no option in the bot to maintain minimum distance from monsters so in order to try and do this yourself you have to get creative. try loading a ranged skill like incinerate with a very high attack speed and have the bot use this skill at a very long range but put totem casts at a higher priority. incinerate will be interrupted by totem casts and you should not walk right into packs because you will be standing back incinerating them for 0 damage. There is a ring which gives you power charges on non-critical hits that would also work great with the incinerate idea beyond this it is timing... how often do your totems die in your botting area determines how often you should place new totems. you will still need a very good dps and reasonable survivability to make this work. Totems are not ideal for bots but not impossible. I was botting with incinerate totems for a while but it gets hairy because there is no kiting mechanism available. -
never. maybe some file(s) got corrupted during download or something. Try again with a fresh copy?

Bot continues trying to navigate maps even when monsters remaining is 0 it should be easy enough to check for monsters remaining before logging out and logging in to rejoin the same finished map over and over until it runs out of portals...

What things can the bot do while heading for loot that can interrupt it? My best guess is it's trying to find an object that is not where the bot thinks it is. an item drops near a wall or cliff and the bot cant decide where to go to pick it up and runs around some barriers back and forth (wall corner, ramp, around a wall. It could be caused by some kind of dirty object in memory that is actually a bug in the game and it has the side effect of confusing the bot. either way it will be hard to directly fix it. Can you make the bot aware of it's position relative to the rest of the map? Maybe Drop markers or take notes of it's surroundings or whatever and force it to not repeat pathing more than a few times or something? Once it can do this then you could log exactly what the bot was trying to do that caused it to think it needed to stay in an area it already has been. That may shed light on this bug.

A Way To Do Maps In The Labrotory
JelloShots replied to topic's apwkid in Exiled Bot Feature Request
bot would need to read map mods to avoid using maps that would get it killed. unid maps probably bad idea for a bot also. need more reliable way to pick up items because the extra quantity on maps will cause items to be too far away for the bot to actually pick them up. this happens on occasion now without the extra quantity on maps. bot needs to at least transmute white maps lot of work but would be pretty cool. -
[STASHING FIX TILL FINAL RELEASE] [EASY TO DO?!]
dasnon replied to topic's apwkid in Exiled Bot Feature Request
what gets you banned is if the game support staff obtain a reason to look at your account more closely... -report from another player (DONT tell your friends you bot.) -strange in town behavior seen by player/support staff -large number of IP/location changes due to multiple VPN changes -large number of logout/login (Get elite and use portal scrolls instead. Do longer runs. Build stronger bot that wont die often.) -posting your bot account name on public forums where a support staff or other player might see it. Once they look at the account more closely they will see the 24/7 activity and ban you with solid evidence of botting. If your only running 8h-12h per day then even if you get reported it is harder to be certain your account is botting. -
multiple bots in the same party are less likely to skip loot less likely to die able to clear content faster less time spent per bot opening chests/barrels/pots able to stack item quantity - need a better pickit for MASSIVE item drops. this can already glitch with just 1 bot ============================== Is it worth it for drops? lets say all our bots have 0% IIQ 100% +50% per extra bot #ofBots | Quantity per bot 1 bot - 100% 2 bot - 75% 3 bot - 66.6% 4 bot - 62.5% 5 bot - 60% 6 bot - 58.3% Lets say all of our bots have 50% IIQ 150% +100% per extra bot (50+50) #ofBots | Quantity per bot 1 bot - 150% 2 bot - 125% 3 bot - 116.6% 4 bot - 112.5% 5 bot - 110% 6 bot - 108.3% So as you can see there is diminishing returns on drops per bot by partying. The only way to make this worth it is with carefully planned party builds that can clear content faster and figuring out a way for one bot to get most of the kills with heavily stacked IIR (Culler Bot) The bots would also need to consume fewer scrolls... they could all share 1 portal A fully automatic partying function for the bots would be extremely complex. I would be happy with a "follow" function though. A follow function would make the bot follow around a player and be helpful for providing auras and for rushing bots through content.

this is NOT only about summoning skills. Skeleton Shrines in non-standard leagues make the bot waste a TON of time acting like a retard as it tries to attack the auto summoned skeletons forever.

it wont exit to town while it is trying to pick up an item or fight. It will stick in the loop until it reaches max total map time at which point I assume it exits to town as i never get on in the morning to find it still stuck but i catch it doing this all the time when I actually watch it. Actually this reminds me of another issue with invulnerable mobs. if the mobs are positioned just right the bot can get stuck trying to kill invincible monsters until the map max time runs out. I don't see this much because I use heavy strike which moves monsters around eventually almost always getting to the source of their invulnerability but it is an issue nonetheless. Probably a bigger deal for some builds than others.

1. Sometimes (rarely about once every few days for me) the bot mis-clicks while identifying items. when this happens it picks up an item which gets stuck on the cursor and the bot cannot get the item off the cursor. It will keep trying to identify other items and get stuck in a logout - login - try to ID items - fail - logout - login - etc forever Solution: 1. For account safety put in a limit on the number of logout/login cycles the bot is allowed to do over time. Make it user setable. 2. Create an optional audio alert to notify of a potential problem. This way if we are nearby we will at least be made aware there is a problem. 3. detect item on cursor 2. When leveling gems the bot will get stuck if one of the gems cant be leveled (due to not meeting requirements). It will keep left clicking on the gray gem level icon FOREVER Solution: Put a time limit on gem leveling phase. This should be pretty easy to do and would at least stop the bot from completely stopping when it hits an unlevelable gem. After this maybe you can detect if a gem level button is active or not before trying to click on it. 3. Bot running back and forth - pathing stuck Solution: I actually resolved this bug partially myself. The bot usually gets stuck due to being unable to decide if it should go after an item or fight a mob on the other side or between two items and it just goes nuts back and forth because it cant decide which path is shorter. I have eliminated about 70% of these stuck errors by reducing safe range to 100 instead of 400 and setting Chest range to 400 instead of 600. Keep in mind that this means the bot needs to be tanky enough to wade through a mob of monsters picking up items without dying but it eliminates the need for the bot to path its way back to an item that it skipped because it was fighting a long chain of monster mobs. Solution: You could probably fix all these bugs entirely by making the bot stick to its original pathing decision unless the original decision becomes impossible. The bot already exits pathing for combat so that isnt a concern. Solution: Allow users to set a travel or movement skill. If the bot leap slams everywhere it wont be getting stuck on ledges, ramps, or mysteriously unbreakable pots blocking paths (happens in docks a lot) 4. Bot only deposits a few of his currency items into the stash leaving a gap in the second column of the stash. this creates an uneven amount of remaining space in the stash which causes the bot to get stuck in a loop trying to pick up a large item. This normally happens when the bot finds five 8 square items in a row (2-h weapons, tower shields, etc). The bot thinks it has enough space because it only counts how many squares are available. it doesn't detect where those squares are. Solution: When the bot is using pickit there should be no problem statistically eliminating the possibility of the exact same item name dropping more than a few times in a row. Implement a check in the pickit so the bot can realize [Hey I've picked up greater than a dozen "rare" && "Karui Chopper". I'm probably trying to pick up the same item and failing at it therefore my inventory must be full. Lets go home.] Solution: A method to check inventory space if its taking a long time to pick an item up should be pretty easy. The stash space for inventory has an exact constant location on the screen... hover the mouse over each square and generate a chart of occupied/not occupied based on if anything pops up when the cursor is hovering over it... for (int x = 1, x <= 5, ++x){ for (int y = 1, y <= 12, ++y){ hover mouse on boxCoord x, y; Store availability state in an array; } } Analyze array to determine if there is enough room for that item we were stuck on. If (not enough room){ Return to town } If (there is enough room){ Generate error log try picking up item for z more seconds before skipping it and moving on }

I'm a little UPSET seeing elite features and elite-activation method
ImTotalyDrunk replied to topic's apwkid in Archives
lol you think elite is useless? Tell that to the people who had to wait an extra week to start using the bot after last update because they were not elite. The RC test versions are in the elite forum. this bot is still in early versions so who is to say they wont implement stronger controls at some point? I would personally rather have more bot features than stronger controls. Thank you for your donation. Without donations, there is no bot. -
If your character has high movement speed (mine is at +65%) the bot opens portal scroll on the move and by the time it closes the inventory window, the TP is off screen so the bot opens another TP... So for every run the bot is using 2 scrolls instead of just 1. Solutions: 1. Make the bot stop moving before opening inventory. or 2. Give the bot 1-2 seconds after last click action before opening inventory (time to finish getting to last click destination)

you should suggest they make their software more botter friendly. I'm sure they will listen to you
