Stagger the botting while you are out of town?
Spaceguy911 replied to topic's crusnik in Exiled Bot Programming
Good luck running it 10 days without a couple random patches breaking everything. I would use the account feature you mentioned and also something for remote desktop like teamviewer. You know your gonna have to help it at some point. Watch it patch right after you leave xD. -
what can i do if i need to sell Blacksmith's Whetstone or any orbs
hfnik replied to topic's crusnik in Archives
(i dont know answer) I make so many more scrolls then i need, how are you running out? I'm pretty sure the bot will use them as long as they are in your stash. Run the bot for a while with "open chests" active and let it gather scrolls then just store some in your stash. Some map runs can burn a lot of scrolls for sure. -
The RAM usage is slightly higher then a XP32 install, but i dont think it would be higher then a win7x32. I haven't tried anything less then 2gb of ram in a VM. For me POE takes about 1.1-1.4GB of memory during usage according to task manager. I assign my VM's 4GB each but they only use up to 1.8GB, usually only 1.65GB. I cant see that being much lower in a 32bit VM. (but maybe it is...) Yes POE is definitely a 32bit program, however performance is better because the CPU is being used more efficiently when the OS its running on is 64bit. Its possible you may find that the game puts the same load on both x32 and x64 systems (depending on hardware) but these VMs are CPU dependant so the less CPU activity the OS requires the better. POE + OS = total. When running multiple VM's on one CPU this thing makes a difference! If you're running 1 VM or are running fine already its probably not worth it, but if you find its close to perfect but not quite (or run 2) it might help the extra bit. Also my interest is to make use of as much ram as possible! if you want pure ram saving its likely 32bit is best, although my VM always uses less then 2GB. I run my 2 VM's on an SSD that is dedicated to them, so if your running off a really slow drive these kinds of optimizations probably wont help you. VirtualBox doesn't support the 3D stuff we require for now. VMware is the only one that does i believe, for now.

the script would probably just get your char into a map, execute the bot and kill it when its done and repeat.
-
Just in case, if anyone here is running a 32bit windows VM on a 64bit system you are wasting efficiency. If you care about performance USE ONLY 64bit whenever possible!!

Nice work dude! i started using it immediately!!

I think everyone here is aware of the benefits a GUI brings. An official GUI is supposed to be on the way soon, and check out Shrek_III's GUI here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=209 it doesn't support the current version but i don't know if it will be worth your time to develop a GUI with the possibly soon officially supported release, and Shrek_III's GUI just needs an update to support the new version.

[Unofficial] EBG (ExiledBot GUI) v2.1a [11/03/13]
Shrek_III replied to topic's crusnik in User's script for POE and/or Exiled Bot
1.4a is working correctly for me. Only thing is i need to manually add the "enable_game_automatic_restart=true" line to the profile config file, as EBG doesn't add this line when it saves config.ini. If you cant get it to work configure the current ini files manually then paste the text into the corresponding EBG profile config file. this way all the defaults are set correctly. thanks for your work Shrek_III -
I said it can get you banned "quickly" since they can use that as a potential way of narrowing the search for botters. right now there is no auto-ban system so somebody actually has to find you and manually ban you. If all you do is bot in a zone where you barely survive, there is a chance you will go on a death spree and make yourself obvious. Unless they don't even check, or they just don't check You. 1. nice thats right it can only go up to 1 page, however i try to choose zones that take long enough to clear that i usually only have 3-4 instances open. Western forest/crossroads are good examples your char will roam and keep finding mobs for a bit longer. if the problem was that i completely cleared so zones so fast it filled a page regularly i would increase the wait period to balance it out. Zone ends in 15min or so? it should take minimum 3minute to clear a zone (i guess), maybe 2min? but thats doesn't count leaving shit behind. and that counts the "no monsters" timer which adds like 40sec. use leap/lightningwarp for sure. 2. If there was an automated ban/report system you could easily get shortlisted, but right now im pretty sure somebody needs to manually ban you. If you were trying to Never get banned its probably better not to waste instances, but its possible they really don't care. This is how you transfer items: Tether your phone through USB, you will have a separate IP and will not be associated with your bots IP. Make sure your IP has changed and log into either another alt (stash char) or your main using the cellular network. Use another PC logged into bot account on your botting IP, then from either char manually party invite the other char as if you were performing your average trade. If a bot uses his goods to trade with an unrelated player GGG will not remove the items from the player who has done nothing wrong. They are not blizzard, they are not funded, they cannot have people investigate all of this shit and track all the items movement/origin. the game is free. Don't bother pretending to exchange anything, there's no way they record all trades. I recommend trading from bot IP to legit stash account on phone IP then change your IP and log into your main on your PC. now just trade stash alt to main. Only problem is the alt account needs to have a character >= lvl 25 to trade away currencies. *I recommend not friend requesting between bot-bot or bot-main. bot-main is obvious, bot-bot is because your already linked by IP and that cant be helped so i wouldn't link them in any other way unnecessary. if 2 bots have each other friend-ed and a GM finds you out and plans to ban you he will see you have only 1-2 or so friends, and he may see that they share the same IP, then he will check if they are logged in and likely visit your instance and you are fucked on all bot accounts.. or if you have 1 account botting and 1 offline he may ban both and IP or ban the bot that was online and ban IP. edit: couple typo's..

banned on 1 account right? yea there is some strategy required, if you want to bot constantly its a good idea to alternate accounts, or just not bot for (lets see 3 days plus 24 hours hmm.. ah) 4 days. I run 2 accounts at once now because i got 3 accounts banned when i ran 3 at once. I recommend 2 accounts at once per IP. Switch ip address every or 2 and alternate 2 other accounts. for me if i switch between 2 external mac addresses i can cycle between e 2 IP's at will, so i dont need to validate the login by email every time.. even if you alternate accounts alone without IP's you are probably better off, but if they just check accounts running from your IP they can easily ban all of them at once since they are connected. My main never shares the same IP as my bots. I was gonna write up a list of good botting practices, but ill wait until im at work. i don't write for free u know hehe. i believe right now is gonna be your best chance to bot safely due to the nature of beta and all, but there are a few things that can get you banned very quickly right now like spamming instances.

RF Sporker Build (needs work)
bowflax replied to topic's crusnik in Character builds and strategies & Bot setups
yea good work! i don't think the bot would know to plant a couple totems and keep a distance. with this build you could set it up to face tank and just plant totems for sure. im gonna try my first one without totems, i can switch later anyways. i guess totem at far range and freeze pulce etc. for short range would be a really fast clear. -
hmm fraps isnt working for me, i thought it would. Anyways the bot works perfectly fine, it probably doesn't see the flickering we see. I wanted to use fraps just for when im actually playing on it, since f1 gets in the way at 800x600. I'd be pissed if your win7home32 didnt flicker, and btw on any modern cpu you should be running a 64bit vm. much faster. of course only if your host is 64bit, which i would think is pretty important on a vm host... Isn't the 32bit vm affected by video memory if you give your vm 4gb with 32bit os? you probably don't get to use 4gb ram, for me i would end up at 3214 (4gb-896mb). it seems to dedicate half my video memory to each vm, but i unno.
