I found a solution. I uninstalled VMWare 10 and installed VMWare 7.1.3 and all flickering is completely GONE. This should probably be mentioned in the big guide thread...

This is not related to this software but maybe someone else had encountered this issue... Whenever POE is launched on the VM (v 10, Win7 Ultimate 64bit), it begins flickering. I disabled Aero and tried changing resolutions, settings, window/fullscreen, etc... Any ideas?
